its a new month and we still need help lol! i started a part time job because we simply are not able to make enough from crowdfunding to pay our bills and expenses, but i dont get paid from said job till this upcoming friday. i never even got close to raising the money i needed for rent at my other place, and i still have a mountain of expenses i need to catch up on. anything ppl can spare helps a ton, but i need $50 yo buy some of my wife and i's medications that arent covered by insurance, and i would like to raise at least $100 to pick up things to help me get thru working without completely obliterating our body. funds can be sent directly or thru ko-fi, we also have a patreon and two wishlists with stuff we need. thanks so much!

"Algonquian", ending with an "-uian", is a language family, with multiple languages & tribes that fall under it. The languages listed here is not exhaustive, & there are more Algonquian languages than listed here.

"Anishnaabe" is a group of culturally related tribes that lived near the Great Lakes region & were allied with each other, and all happen to fall under the Algonquian language family. Anishnaabe does not only exclusively refer to the Ojibwe tribe or language, though they often use this to refer to themselves. Not all Algonquian tribes fall under the "Anishnaabe" group, such as the Cree (except in the case of Oji-Crees), or Blackfoot.

"Algonquin", ending with just "-uin", is a singular tribe and language that is both in the Algonquian language family, as well as a part of the Anishnaabe language group.

"intrusive thought" gets thrown around by assholes talking about putting strainers on their heads or stepping on a leaf who in the next sentence will say "if your thoughts are about actually hurting people they should put you in a psych ward". compulsions and rituals get seen as proof you're "crazy". ocd insight CAN be delusional, even. pocd and sexual ocd is especially demonized, though even something as "harmless" (to others. not *us*) as contamination OCD is still mocked, belittled, and seen as a sign something is fundamentally wrong with you. I have seen people twice my age advocate for violence against anyone who thinks the way I've been forced by my mental illness to think since i was 6, maybe 7 years old.

OCD is not destigmatized.
